how can you read all of the info on this forum regarding un scandal, alleged paedophilia, failed prophecies, u-turn on blood etc.
and not have your conscience affected before jehovah.
Some of us need to stay inside the WBTS, otherwise our families would shun us. I can't bear that at this time.
My relatives are among the nices people you'd want to meet and hang out with, but they utmost loyalty is with the WBTS.
So, I hang around here to interact with others that are in my same situation.

the celebration of birthdays is banned by the wts.
but from what i have seen from dubs, they actually take it one step further.
they wont even acknowledge someones birthday!
Birthday celebrations among JWs is one of the dirty little secret most won't confess.
Believe you me, plenty of JWs celebrate their birthdays and that of their loved ones in a hush-hush way. Done very privately.
Cake, gifts, music, drinks and all!!! Not everyone is invited, of course.

any publisher in good standing, male or female, was encourage to attend such recruiting meeting.. i guess the need is greater now.. dy

Since the WBTS is into so much construction, it makes perfect sense that the pioneers remain in the field while the other publishers do all the work. Come to think of it, it's a brilliant idea!
